The R7 Mako OR submodel provides a factory optics cut with a cover plate and accepts micro red dots using the Shield/RMSc footprint. Its enclosed-top slide design is intended to help shield a mounted optic while retaining practical charging serrations at the front, rear, and top of the slide. Common-pattern sights make sight service straightforward, and the TruGlo Tritium Pro three-dot set offers a high-visibility orange-ring tritium front and a two-dot tritium rear (TG-H3).
Built for durability, the pistol uses a stainless-steel slide and 3.37 in stainless barrel treated with a nitride/FNC-type finish. The black frame is a glass-filled nylon polymer with a stainless central chassis, and the grip surfaces carry molded aggressive texturing for confident purchase.
The striker-fired system includes a flat-faced trigger with a factory weight of approximately 5.0–6.75 lb and a trigger safety. Controls include a left-side slide stop and Glock-style takedown tabs. A single-slot accessory rail on the dustcover provides space for a compact light or laser if desired.
