This AF1911 Romulus configuration pairs a compact 3.5" barrel with a compensated muzzle system and three top ports, visible through the large top slide window. The result is a short-slide 9mm 1911 that retains double-stack capacity and a carryable footprint without giving up key control features.
The slide is optic cut and ships with a removable cover plate marked "PA1." It also carries front and rear serrations plus top serrations for confident manipulation. Sighting setup includes a fiber-optic green front; rear sighting provisions depend on the chosen optic/cover plate configuration.
Ergonomics are centered on a machined aluminum double-stack grip module with a separate, screw-retained aluminum magwell funnel for swift reloads. Controls include ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, a vertically serrated Red Dirt trigger, a skeletonized commander-style spur hammer, and an OnPoint right-side magazine release installed.
The full-length dust cover features a three-slot 1913/Picatinny rail for mounting lights or other rail accessories. Magazines have witness holes numbered to 17, and the pistol’s 17+1 capacity makes efficient use of the compact size.
Built in the USA and designated as a recent release, this Romulus includes a suite of installed EGW internals—hammer, hammer strut, mainspring, sear, disconnector, and extractor—providing a thoughtfully upgraded parts set from the factory configuration.
