The Gen4 configuration brings functional upgrades to a compact, carryable format. The enlarged, reversible magazine release offers flexible setup for different shooters, while the RTF (Rough Textured Frame) grip with finger grooves delivers secure purchase. A dual captive recoil spring assembly is a Gen4 hallmark designed to manage recoil and enhance durability.
The 4.02" steel barrel is cold hammer forged with polygonal rifling and a nitrided finish. The slide wears a matte black nitride finish with rear serrations only, providing a clean profile consistent with the model. The single-slot Glock accessory rail on the dustcover supports compatible lights or other rail-mounted accessories.
This striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech system incorporates Glock’s internal safeties: trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety. Standard capacity is 15+1 rounds, keeping the overall package compact without sacrificing on-board ammunition.
Sights are the factory fixed polymer set with a white-dot front and white U-notch rear for quick alignment. The pistol is made in Austria, and the barrel hood carries the Austrian proof mark and AT marking. Matching serials appear on the slide, barrel, and frame.
