The receiver is roll-marked "CZ 527M CARBINE" and uses the micro‑Mauser controlled-round-feed action with a fixed ejector. The receiver features integral 16 mm dovetail scope-mount cuts, and this rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel.
The 18.5-inch carbine barrel is cold hammer-forged with a 1:9 twist. It wears iron sights consisting of a ramped, hooded front post and a barrel-mounted open rear sight.
The walnut stock has a straight-comb profile with cut checkering, sling swivel studs, and a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
The rifle is chambered in .223 Rem with a 5+1 capacity and includes two 5-round CZ factory steel magazines. The trigger is the CZ single-set type for fine shot control.
Czech CIP proof marks are present with the Czech lion and a "15" year code (2015), along with the CZ-USA Kansas City, KS importer mark. The CZ 527 series was discontinued in 2021.
