The G17C Gen4 features the factory-compensated "C" configuration with a ported barrel and matching slide windows. This ported slide and barrel setup vents gases upward through compensator ports. The barrel measures 4.49 inches, and the pistol retains the full-size 17+1 capacity.
Gen4 enhancements include the dual-recoil-spring assembly for the slide system and the modular backstrap system, with interchangeable backstraps included. The reversible magazine release and Gen4 texture with finger grooves support adaptable handling. The frame is glass-fiber-reinforced polymer with an accessory rail.
Sights are the Glock fixed polymer notch-and-post set, with a white-dot front and white U-notch rear. The pistol uses Glock's Safe Action system and striker-fired operation. The slide is cut with compensator ports to work in tandem with the barrel ports.
This is a U.S.-made and U.S.-marked example with a US proof mark, produced in Smyrna, Georgia. The slide and frame carry matching serial numbers, aligning with original factory configuration; the barrel is not serialized.
