The P30L configuration features a long slide with a 4.45 in barrel and front and rear cocking serrations. Slide markings read "HK P30L" and "9 mm x 19." The extended sight radius measures 6.42 in, supporting the high-contrast 3-dot sighting system.
This V3 variant uses a DA/SA trigger with second-strike capability and a rear-mounted decocking button, with no manual safety levers. It employs an external spurred hammer and an ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release that complements the platform's bilateral controls.
The cold hammer-forged barrel uses a polygonal bore. The pistol is German-made and carries DE proof and CIP N markings along with the HKI Columbus, GA import stamp. Sights are drift-adjustable: a front blade with a yellow/green contrast dot and a rear open notch, non-radioactive.
The fiber-reinforced polymer frame incorporates interchangeable backstraps and side panels (S/M/L) to fine-tune grip fit.
