The P-09 C Nocturne employs CZ's OMEGA DA/SA trigger system with a curved trigger and an ambidextrous decocker that is factory-convertible to a manual safety, giving the user flexibility in setup. Its external hammer and short-recoil, locked-breech action are paired with a fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame sized for compact carry.
The 3.75 in steel barrel is cold hammer forged and nitrided, and the nitride-treated steel slide provides durability. Forward and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation. The slide runs inside the frame rails, a CZ hallmark that contributes to a low bore axis feel.
A direct-milled micro-optic interface uses the Shield RMS/Holosun-K footprint and comes with a cover plate installed. Dovetailed steel post-and-notch sights are height-coded (front 8.5, rear 7.0) for precise regulation. An integral accessory rail and a lanyard loop at the grip add practical utility.
Grips feature the Nocturne-pattern texture with CZ medallions. Markings include "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC" and "CZ-USA Hartford CT," with a Czech proof mark bearing the "24" year code (2024). Capacity is 15+1 for the Compact variant, and the included steel magazines use high-visibility orange followers.
