The Mod. 84 BB is a compact, aluminum-alloy frame .380 ACP from Beretta's Cheetah series, offering a 13+1 double-stack capacity in a manageable size. Its nominal 3.8-inch steel barrel and blue/black finish provide the classic 84-series profile and handling.
Operating controls are set up for practical carry and range use: DA/SA, hammer-fired, blowback operation; an external spurred hammer; and an ambidextrous, frame-mounted manual safety with red fire indicator dots. A firing pin safety adds an additional passive layer of protection.
The slide features Beretta's open-top design with rear cocking serrations only. Sights are fixed iron, with a low blade front and square-notch rear. The hard-anodized alloy frame wears black checkered synthetic grips for a secure hold.
Factory markings are present and crisp: the slide reads "PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T. - MADE IN ITALY" and "MOD. 84 BB - CAL. 9 Short," while the barrel is marked "CAL. 9 Short / .380 Auto." The slide bears the PB monogram with "PATENTED," while the frame shows only a small "PB" stamp above the trigger area; Italian proof marks appear on the right side of the frame ahead of the trigger guard.
This example includes four 13-round Mec-Gar magazines tailored to the 84-series and a Bianchi Model 10L leather belt holster that fits the Beretta 84, adding immediate usability and value.
