It features Magpul STR and MOE furniture, a threaded muzzle with an A2-pattern flash suppressor, and comes with four Magpul PMAG GEN M3 30-round magazines. The A3 flat-top upper provides a continuous, T-marked Picatinny rail that is marked "S&W" and includes a forward assist, ejection port dust cover, and case deflector. Selector markings read "SAFE"/"FIRE" on both sides. The upper receiver bears an "A" forging mark.
The installed 16-inch BCM Enhanced Lightweight barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-pattern flash suppressor. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, it uses a direct-impingement, semi-automatic operating system and feeds from standard STANAG magazines with a stated 30+1 capacity.
The Midwest Industries aluminum quad-rail handguard offers four rails and includes textured rail cover panels. The handguard shows the manufacturer’s patent number and CAGE code, underscoring its provenance.
Magpul furniture includes the STR adjustable carbine stock and the MOE pistol grip, both in durable polymer. The rifle is finished in a matte black scheme with an anodized aluminum receiver, and it ships with a Vickers Blue Force Gear two-point sling and a soft rifle case. Made in the United States.
