Made in Russia by Izhmash, this Saiga is built on a stamped AK-pattern receiver with magazine-well dimples and a standard rivet pattern. Factory markings include "MADE IN RUSSIA BY IZHMASH," Izhmash triangle logos, Cyrillic "САЙГА," and additional proofs such as the PC mark and circled 12. Importer marking is RWC GROUP LLC, Tullytown, PA, corresponding to the limited 2012–2014 U.S. import window prior to sanctions.
The rifle has been converted from its sporter layout to an AKM-style configuration. It wears a fixed laminated-wood buttstock, laminated-wood upper and lower handguards with a proper lower handguard retainer, and a checkered wooden pistol grip. The gas tube is vented, and the receiver retains the AK side-rail for optics. The cleaning-rod channel is present, though a rod is not installed.
