What's Included
- Zastava Arms M48A 8mm Mauser bolt-action rifle
Built on an intermediate-length Mauser 98–pattern action, this M48A carries the correct receiver ring marking and the Yugoslav socialist crest. The left-side receiver wall is stamped with the Preduzeće 44 arsenal designation from Zastava in Kragujevac, aligning with its postwar Yugoslav origin.
The M48A variant is identifiable by its stamped trigger guard and floorplate, with the bolt left in the white against otherwise blued steel components. The rifle retains a 23.25 in barrel paired with a hooded post front sight and a tangent rear ladder sight graduated in meters.
It uses a fixed 5-round internal magazine designed for stripper-clip loading and incorporates the Mauser three-position safety. Length of pull measures 13.0 in for a classic military stock fit.
The hardwood, oil-finished full-length stock includes a separate upper handguard, a left-side butt sling slot, a steel buttplate, and milled barrel bands. Receiver and buttstock share the same last five digits, while the trigger guard and floorplate show different last digits.
