The Model 1006 is built on an all-stainless-steel slide and frame with a matte stainless finish. Its 5-inch barrel and single-stack 9+1 capacity define a robust full-size 10mm configuration.
This 3rd Generation pistol uses a DA/SA operating system with an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, a firing pin block, and a magazine disconnect. Controls include a left-side magazine release, a curved trigger, and an external spur hammer.
The factory adjustable-sight configuration pairs a ramped front sight with dot to a fully adjustable rear sight. The bore is excellent, with a clean, mirror finish and sharp rifling.
