The G44 uses a compact-size polymer frame with Glock's Modular Backstrap System and an aggressive grip texture. Ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine catch (installed on the left side) support a wide range of shooters. A subtly flared magwell aids magazine changes.
The hybrid steel–polymer slide is purpose-built for rimfire blowback operation and includes front and rear cocking serrations. The 4.02 in cold-hammer-forged Glock Marksman Barrel with a standard crown provides excellent bore quality.
Adjustable polymer sights include a white-dot front and a rear adjustable for windage and elevation, with a sight radius of 6.02–6.22 in. Capacity is 10+1, and this pistol comes with two factory 10-round magazines.
Safety features are Glock's Safe Action system with trigger, firing pin, and drop safeties. The frame includes an accessory rail with one slot for compatible lights or other rail-mounted gear. Markings include MADE IN USA, USA on the slide, and US on the barrel hood; the serial number is repeated on the slide, barrel hood, and frame plate.
