This SPS Tactical AAC-SD was created with Advanced Armament Corp. as a purpose-built .300 AAC Blackout variant. It uses the proven two-lug Model 700 action with a knurled bolt knob and a shrouded cocking piece, and it is made in the United States. The internal box magazine feeds through a hinged floorplate for straightforward unloading.
The 16-inch heavy-contour carbon steel barrel features 5R rifling, a fast twist rate, and a recessed crown. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle supports compatible muzzle devices, aligning with the AAC collaboration intent for this model.
The Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock in Ghillie Green provides a secure, textured grip and a semi-beavertail forend. Pillar bedding helps stabilize the action, while the Hogue rubber recoil pad and a 13.5-inch length of pull deliver a consistent shoulder fit.
The X-Mark Pro trigger is externally adjustable to fine-tune pull weight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics; a rear scope base segment is installed on the rear receiver bridge, while the front receiver ring has open screw holes (no front base installed). The rifle ships without iron sights. Sling swivel studs are factory installed at the forend and butt.
