The BREN 2 Ms action uses a short-stroke gas piston with a rotating multi-lug bolt, paired with an adjustable gas regulator offering minus/1/plus positions specifically for 7.62x39. Right-side ejection, a bolt catch/release ahead of the trigger guard, an ambidextrous safety/selector, and an ambidextrous magazine release support efficient handling from either side.
The 9-inch barrel is left-hand threaded and equipped with a three-prong flash hider secured by a jam nut. The bore uses 4-groove rifling with a 1:9.5 twist. The platform feeds from proprietary CZ 7.62x39 double-column, double-feed magazines, and capacity is 30+1.
