The Echelon 4.5F is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm built around Springfield Armory’s modular Central Operating Group (COG) serialized chassis. This internal steel module enables a robust core inside the polymer frame while simplifying service and configuration.
Its billet-machined steel slide wears a Melonite finish and features front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The slide is cut for the factory Optics-ready VIS (Variable Interface System) and includes an optic cover plate when a red dot is not installed.
The 4.5 inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel is non-threaded and made from steel for durability and consistency. The bore presents a clean, mirror finish with sharp rifling.
Ergonomics are anchored by a polymer frame with aggressive molded texturing and fully ambidextrous controls, including the slide stop and magazine release. The pistol uses a non-manual-safety configuration with a trigger blade safety.
Duty-ready sights include a high-visibility front dot paired with a serrated U-notch rear that has a forward-facing ledge. An integral Picatinny dustcover rail with five slots supports lights or other rail-mounted accessories. This configuration ships with two 20-round and one 17-round steel magazines with witness holes, delivering a 20+1 capacity.
