The "USA" submodel marking on the slide, the US mark on the barrel, and the MADE IN USA, GLOCK INC., SMYRNA, GA frame molding confirm U.S. manufacture. A pentagon P proof/inspection mark is visible on the barrel hood. Matching serial numbers were observed on the barrel and slide.
This G42 is a micro .380 ACP with a steel 3.25 inch barrel and a slim, single-stack polymer frame. It uses Glock's striker-fired Safe Action system with three passive safeties. The slide has rear serrations, and the finish is matte black with black frame.
Factory sights are the fixed polymer notch-and-post type, with a white-dot front and white-outline rear, providing a clear reference picture consistent with Glock's standard sighting setup.
Capacity is 6+1, and this example includes three 6-round magazines, with one magazine fitted with an extended finger-rest floorplate. An installed Streamlight TLR-6 adds an integrated white light and red laser purpose-built for the G42/43 trigger guard.
