The rifle is built on a Savage 110-series short-action Model 12 receiver with a floating bolt head and the proven barrel-nut system. The steel receiver wears a matte black finish and uses a tang safety. It is chambered in .223 Rem and feeds from a detachable box-magazine system.
The 26 in steel heavy/varmint-contour barrel features a recessed target crown and a matte finish, with an unthreaded muzzle. This setup is aimed at consistency and heat management typical of varmint and target applications.
The MDT ORYX one-piece aluminum chassis brings rigidity and ergonomic adjustability. It includes OD-green panels, an adjustable cheek piece, M-LOK forend slots, and a 14.0 in length of pull. A buttstock bag rider is installed for stable rear support, and a forend accessory marked "JAMER – USA" is attached.
For support interface and mounting, a SUNWAYFOTO SMP-300 ARCA-Swiss rail plate is installed on the forend, and a one-piece Picatinny scope base is mounted to the receiver. These components provide straightforward integration with common tripods, rests, and optics mounts.
This rifle is fitted with a Rifle Basix SAV-2 trigger. It includes two 10-round polymer magazines marked "223" for a 10+1 capacity. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling, reinforcing the rifle’s clean overall presentation.
