What's Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chiefs Special no-dash revolver (.38 Special, 2-inch, nickel)
Built on the compact J-frame, this five-shot Chiefs Special delivers classic S&W double-action/single-action operation with an exposed, checkered hammer spur and a smooth, narrow trigger. The yoke cut is stamped "MOD. 36" (no-dash), consistent with its 1969–1970 production.
The nickel-finished carbon steel construction pairs with a 2-inch tapered, pinned barrel for a traditional snub configuration. The unshrouded, knurled-tip ejector rod maintains the period-correct profile.
Sights are fixed, with a serrated ramp front and a square-notch integral rear. The round-butt grip frame is fitted with checkered walnut service stocks featuring silver S&W medallions.
Markings include "38 S. & W. SPL." on the barrel and "MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS" on the frame. A J-prefix serial on the butt aligns with 1969–1970 production, and the revolver has no internal lock.
