This Daniel Defense H9 is a recent-release, all-metal 9mm compact built around a low-bore-axis design. It pairs a cold-hammer-forged stainless barrel with an optics-ready slide and corrosion-resistant finishes. Ambidextrous and reversible controls, a STANAG 4694 accessory rail, and fixed fiber-optic/U-notch sights round out a feature set aimed at serious everyday use. Made in the USA and includes three 15-round magazines.

The H9 uses an all-metal construction: an alloy steel slide, a stainless steel barrel, and an aluminum grip module with a steel fire-control insert. Components wear corrosion-resistant coatings, and the barrel features a recessed crown for added protection.
Ergonomics and control layout are modern and ambidextrous. A straight trigger with an integral safety blade works with a striker safety plunger and striker block. The slide stop is ambidextrous, and the push-button magazine release is reversible.
The slide is cut for optics and ships with a removable cover plate. It includes front and rear cocking serrations plus longitudinal top anti-glare serrations. The dovetails accept SIG P-Series open sights, and this pistol is equipped with a green fiber-optic front and a plain serrated U-notch rear.
A STANAG 4694 accessory rail on the dustcover supports lights and other compatible accessories. Capacity is 15+1, and this example includes three magazines. The compact 4.28 in barrel length, replaceable grip panels, and low-bore-axis architecture contribute to fast handling and controllability.
