This XD-M Elite 3.8 Compact OSP in .45 ACP combines a match-grade, hammer-forged 3.8 inch barrel with Springfield's flat-faced META trigger and ambidextrous slide stop levers. The OSP slide features an optics cut with cover plate, a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator, and front and rear serrations. It ships with both 13-round and 9-round magazines and a comprehensive factory accessory set, with matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame and HS Produkt/Springfield Armory import marks.

The 3.8 inch Compact OSP slide is cut for optics and arrives with the cover plate installed. It also includes a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator and forward and rear serrations for positive manipulation. The slide and frame wear a uniform black finish.
Performance-focused parts include a match-grade, hammer-forged barrel with a hood marked MATCH and the flat-faced META trigger featuring an over-travel stop. Safety elements are integrated via a trigger safety and a grip safety. Ambidextrous slide stop levers support bilateral operation.
The compact polymer frame keeps handling brisk and incorporates a three-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dustcover. This example does not have a flared magwell installed, and none is included. Sighting is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic front and a square-notch rear with a tactical rack ledge.
Chambered in .45 ACP with a listed capacity of 13+1, this example is accompanied by both 13-round and 9-round magazines to tailor size and capacity. It was manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory in Geneseo, Illinois, with markings reading HS PRODUKT – MADE IN CROATIA and GENESEO IL. This variant of the XD-M Elite 3.8 Compact OSP was announced on December 13, 2021, and this pistol shows matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame.
