The revolver uses a 5 shot stainless steel cylinder chambered in .44 Magnum and also accepts .44 Special ammunition. It operates in double-action/single-action with an exposed, spurred hammer.
Sighting equipment includes a fixed ramp front sight with an orange insert and a fully adjustable rear sight. The grip set is black textured rubber with finger grooves and Taurus logos for a secure hold.
