Built in Kimber's Custom Shop, this Pro CDP II is a compact 1911 configured with a 4-inch bushingless match-grade bull barrel and a lightweight aluminum alloy frame. The two-tone finish pairs a matte stainless slide with a black frame, complemented by Carry Melt dehorning and fixed tritium 3-dot night sights. It includes ambidextrous safety controls and 30 LPI checkering for confident handling, all in a carry-friendly package around 28 oz empty.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Shows minor handling marks. Light surface rust is present in the slide serrations. See photos for details.

This CDP II (Custom Defense Package) model features a Pro-length 4-inch slide over a bushingless, match-grade bull barrel with a full-length guide rod. The slide is matte stainless with rear cocking serrations, an internal extractor, and Kimber's Carry Melt dehorning that rounds edges for smooth handling.
The lightweight aluminum alloy frame is finished in black and retains classic 1911 lines with a non-railed dustcover. Ergonomics are enhanced by 30 LPI checkering on the front strap with a high undercut trigger guard, plus a flat, checkered mainspring housing.
Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a grip safety with memory bump, and the Series II Swartz-type firing pin block. A skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized rowel-type hammer complete the carry-oriented setup.
Sighting is provided by fixed tritium 3-dot night sights, with a tritium front marked "MH3" and a low-profile dovetailed rear. The pistol is a compact 1911 with a 7+1 capacity, reference dimensions of 7.7 inches in overall length, 5.25 inches in height, 1.28 inches in width, and an empty weight around 28 oz. Aftermarket black double-diamond synthetic grip panels are installed. Made in the United States.
