The EOS uses the proven 2011 platform with a single-action, semi-automatic system and a compact 4.25 inch barrel length. The barrel is bushingless, ported, and finished with a flush/recessed crown, and carries the "Perfect Zero" marking. The tri-top slide includes machined relief cuts and forward/top lightening windows to reduce reciprocating mass.
Controls and ergonomics are purpose-built: a flat-faced, skeletonized, lightened trigger set at approximately 3.0 lb; a skeletonized commander-style hammer; a standard left-side magazine release; and both a manual thumb safety and a grip safety. Aggressive triangular texturing on the grips enhances purchase.
Optics and sights are ready to run: a Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA red dot is installed on the Atlas Perfect Zero SRO plate, with SRO2 and Made in USA markings noted. A fiber-optic front sight with a red rod provides a bright aiming reference.
