The BA50 uses a robust, AR-influenced two-piece aluminum receiver with familiar controls, including an AR-style selector. It has right-side ejection and a side bolt handle with a large tapered knob for confident manipulation. The magazine well carries the Bushmaster snake-logo marking, and the rifle feeds from detachable steel box magazines with a 10+1 maximum capacity.
Its 30-inch heavy-profile barrel is threaded and fitted with an AAC-marked multi-port muzzle brake. This setup is purpose-built for the .50 BMG chambering and delivers a stable platform for precision shooting.
The free-floating tubular aluminum handguard features large oval cooling slots and mates to a full-length top Picatinny rail that continues seamlessly over the receiver. A Monstrum Picatinny riser is currently installed on the receiver rail for added mounting height.
The adjustable precision buttstock provides cheek height and length-of-pull adjustments and is finished with a LIMBSAVER buttpad. A rubber overmolded finger-groove pistol grip enhances control. The rifle is marked Sturgis, South Dakota, and is made in the United States.
