The receiver is fiberglass-reinforced polymer with the model marking "CZ SCORPION 3 PLUS" molded into the housing and a serial number plate on the left side. The ejection port is marked "9x19," and the import mark reads "CZ-USA, KANSAS CITY, KS."
The 16.3-inch barrel is cold hammer forged, threaded 1/2x28 TPI, and covered by an over-barrel shroud. The setup provides a durable, service-length carbine barrel configured with standard 9mm threading.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the two-position safety selector and the bolt catch/bolt release. The magazine release is an AR-style, ambidextrous push-button design. The action is simple blowback, semi-automatic, with a stated capacity of 35+1.
Furniture consists of a folding polymer stock with a 12.5-inch length of pull and a polymer M-LOK handguard. A full-length Picatinny top rail runs from the receiver to the handguard. CZ-marked adjustable front and rear sights with protective ears are installed.
