The Bergara B-14R HMR Steel in .22 LR is a purpose-built trainer with a heavy 18 in 4140 chromoly barrel, an HMR stock with integrated aluminum mini-chassis, and a Remington 700-compatible scope-base pattern. This right-hand rifle is made in Spain and includes an installed EGW Picatinny scope base, an Area 419 forend rail section with QD socket, and five 10-round magazines.

The 18 in heavy No. 6 contour barrel is machined from 4140 chromoly steel and features a 1:16 twist for .22 LR. It is factory threaded 1/2-28 UNEF and fitted with a thread protector, making it ready for common muzzle devices.
The HMR molded synthetic stock incorporates an aluminum mini-chassis for stability and repeatability. An adjustable cheekpiece and a length-of-pull spacer system allow straightforward fit adjustments. The stock is finished gray with black speckle and adds textured grip and forend panels for positive handling.
This rifle uses a detachable box magazine system and comes with five 10-round magazines, providing a 10+1 capacity. A two-position safety is fitted, and there are no iron sights. The action is right-hand with the bolt and ejection port on the right side.
Mounting options are well covered: an EGW one-piece Picatinny scope base is installed, and an Area 419 Picatinny forend rail section with an integrated QD sling socket is included. The stock also provides a QD socket and a front sling stud.
Built as a trainer on a Remington 700-compatible scope-base pattern (6-48) and trainer footprint, the B-14R HMR Steel mirrors popular centerfire ergonomics. It is marked B14R .22 LR, carries importer markings BPI Lawrenceville, GA, and is made in Spain. Length of pull is 14.0 in, and the rifle is full-size.
