The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a birdcage-style flash suppressor.
Gas handling is via a mid-length system, paired with Daniel Defense's MFR 15.0 M-LOK free-float rail. The handguard provides ample mounting real estate while maintaining a rigid, free-floated setup for consistent accuracy. The top features an uninterrupted full-length Picatinny rail for continuous mounting surface.
The upper receiver is a forged A4 pattern with a forward assist and dust cover, marked DDM4V7. The MFR 15.0 M handguard is roll marked with U.S. Patent 7,716,865. Both receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a durable hardcoat anodized finish, providing a robust foundation for the platform.
Furniture includes a collapsible glass-filled polymer stock with overmolded texturing and a Daniel Defense textured pistol grip. The rifle offers a 13.75-inch length of pull and a 30+1 capacity in 5.56mm NATO. It is a full-size AR-15 platform rifle built in the USA.
