The FCP McMillan configuration stands out with its McMillan-marked fiberglass stock finished in gray texture. The stock includes a straight comb and a beavertail forend for stable support, with dual front sling studs and a rear stud for flexible sling or bipod placement. Length of pull is set at 13.25 inches and a McMillan buttpad is installed.
The 24-inch heavy contour barrel is carbon steel, non-fluted, and capped with a recessed crown. It has no sights, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases (not installed). A factory barrel inscription is present.
This bolt-action system uses a carbon steel receiver and the Savage barrel-nut system. The rifle is equipped with a user-adjustable Savage AccuTrigger featuring a bladed design, along with a tang safety. The bolt is fitted with a large round knob for positive operation.
Chambered in .308 Win, the rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine with a front latch and offers a 3+1 capacity. This is a full-size, USA-made model from Savage’s Law Enforcement Series, set up with a no-sights configuration and ready for the end user to configure as desired.
