Made in West Germany and marked "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do." and "Made in W Germany," this PPK/S carries the Ulm stag-antler proof, eagle/N nitro proof, and "Modell PPK/S Cal. 9mmkurz" slide marking. The barrel hood shows the "72" proof date, aligning with its 1972 production.
The pistol uses the PP-series fixed-barrel, straight-blowback system with a DA/SA trigger and an exposed spur hammer. Controls include a slide-mounted safety/decocker and a left-side button magazine release. A lanyard ring is fitted at the rear of the frame.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish, complemented by black checkered synthetic grips bearing the Walther banner. Sighting is via fixed sights: a front blade and a rear notch. The slide features anti-glare serrations on the top.
