Russian-built at Izhmash (Kalashnikov Concern) in Izhevsk, this Saiga-308-1 pairs the proven long-stroke gas system with a 22 in hammer-forged, chrome-lined, threaded barrel. It features factory markings in both English and Cyrillic, Russian proof and acceptance stamps, and import marks. The rifle is configured with a black polymer sporter stock and includes an installed Tapco USA vented polymer lower handguard, plus an uninstalled two-piece Picatinny scope mount.
Chambered in .308 Win (7.62×51) and using the proprietary Saiga .308 detachable box magazine pattern, this example offers a stamped steel receiver in matte black, iron sights with a protected front post and AK tangent rear leaf, and sling attachment points. Overall length is approximately 43.5 in, and length of pull is 13.5 in.

Operation is semi-automatic with a rotating bolt and long-stroke gas piston, and controls include a manual safety selector. The rifle feeds from the proprietary Saiga .308 detachable box magazine pattern and has a 10+1 capacity with the included magazine. A two-piece Picatinny rail scope mount is provided in the box for those who wish to add optics, and it remains uninstalled.
