Built on the 1911 platform and sized as a full‑size Government model, the Rapide Scorpius uses a 5 in match-grade stainless steel barrel with a black DLC finish. It retains a bushing-style muzzle with a standard recoil spring plug and an approximate 16 lb recoil spring.
The slide wears a Black KimPro II finish with brush-polished flats and is marked RAPIDE. Three rectangular lightening windows per side and stepped cocking serrations contribute to its distinctive profile.
Sight regulation comes from TRUGLO TFX Pro day/night sights, featuring a front with an orange ring surrounding a green rod (TG-H3 marking) and a rear with two green rods. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump.
The stainless steel frame is finished in Black KimPro II and fitted with textured black G-10 grip panels. Grip surfaces include Stiplex texturing on the front strap and a dimpled/stippled mainspring housing with an integral magwell funnel for streamlined reloads. The trigger is a skeletonized, V-cut aluminum unit paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
