The EM-1C configuration pairs a single selective trigger (1C) with barrel order selection and selective ejectors (EM). The 28 inch over/under barrels are chambered for 3 inch shells and use an interchangeable Baikal screw-in choke system. Included choke tubes are Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder, along with the factory wrench.
Controls are straightforward and familiar, with a top-tang safety and the trigger-mounted selector. The hardwood stock set features cut checkering, a pistol grip, and a beavertail forend for a secure, comfortable hold. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches, and the butt is finished with a ventilated Baikal-pattern recoil pad.
Barrels are steel with chrome-plated bores and a ventilated top rib. External metal shows a blued finish on the barrels, while the receiver wears a matte black finish. Factory engraving includes simple scroll accents on the receiver and engraved flourishes on the bottom plate.
Importer and proof markings are present: EAA Corp., Cocoa, FL; 12x76 chamber marks; 90 MPa pressure mark; bore diameter marks of 18.4 mm on both barrels; and recurring 03-in-circle cartouches. Country of origin is Russia.
