The M107A1 uses a semi-automatic, short-recoil operated system with a right-side charging handle and a manual thumb-lever safety. Its detachable 10-round magazine system provides a 10+1 capacity, and this example includes two factory Barrett magazines.
The 29-inch barrel is fluted and chrome-lined with a 1:15 RH twist, paired with a four-port multi-baffle muzzle brake engineered for Barrett QDL suppressor compatibility. Cooling is aided by the oval cooling-slot handguard.
Sighting equipment consists of a fixed front iron sight and an adjustable rear iron sight, complemented by a full-length T-marked M1913 Picatinny top rail for mounting as needed. The installed Barrett adjustable folding bipod adds stability for supported shooting.
Construction features an aluminum upper receiver and an integral steel lower, with takedown architecture that uses captive hinge, mid, and rear lock pins. The rifle has a fixed stock with an AR-pattern pistol grip and a 14.75-inch length of pull. Made in the United States.
