This left-hand Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in .378 Weatherby Magnum pairs the iconic nine-lug Mark V magnum action with a 26-inch barrel and a richly finished walnut stock. Built in Japan during the Howa production era (H-prefix), it features a high-polish blued finish, a drilled and tapped receiver, and deluxe stock appointments. Its 2+1 internal box magazine and a 13.5-inch length of pull round out a configuration aimed at power and control.
The Monte Carlo stock shows classic Deluxe details: rollover cheekpiece, rosewood forend tip and grip cap with white-line spacers, white diamond inlay, and wraparound skip-line checkering. A fluted one-piece bolt body and 54-degree bolt lift support smooth cycling. No sights are installed from the factory, and quick-detach sling swivels and a ventilated recoil pad are fitted. Made in Japan is marked on the rifle.

The Mark V magnum action uses nine locking lugs and a 54-degree bolt lift, designed for strength and a short bolt throw. The fluted, one-piece bolt body contributes to smooth operation and reliable cycling in this powerful .378 Weatherby Magnum chambering.
The rifle is built on a 26-inch barrel and an internal box magazine with a 2+1 capacity, providing a straightforward, robust feeding system. The receiver is drilled and tapped. No sights are installed.
Deluxe stock appointments include a gloss-finished Monte Carlo walnut stock with a rollover cheekpiece, rosewood forend tip and pistol-grip cap, white-line spacers, and a white diamond inlay. Wraparound skip-line checkering provides a secure hold, while QD sling swivels and a ventilated recoil pad are factory features.
The high-polish blued steel barrel and receiver present a classic Weatherby appearance. This example was Made in Japan during the 1972–1994 era, with an H-prefix serial indicating the Howa production period.
