Colt Anaconda .44 Rem Magnum Ducks Unlimited 2026 Handgun of the Year – 6 inch, Factory-Engraved, Gold Inlay, Polished Stainless, DA/SA
This limited-edition Colt Anaconda was selected as the Ducks Unlimited Handgun of the Year for 2026. It is factory-engraved with selective gold inlays, including a gold-inlaid "DUCKS UNLIMITED" barrel legend and ducks motif on the frame. Built in bright-polished stainless steel with a 6 inch barrel, adjustable sights, and checkered dark hardwood target grips, it also features special commemorative serial numbering with a "DU" suffix.
As a current-generation Anaconda, it uses Colt’s modern Python-derived action in a double-action/single-action format. The revolver presents the classic 6-shot fluted cylinder and a stainless barrel with a full underlug and vent rib, combining strength with a distinct Anaconda profile.
The engraving extends across the frame, cylinder, and barrel, highlighting the polished stainless finish. Rollmarks include "ANACONDA" over ".44 MAGNUM," along with the Colt Hartford, CT USA barrel address. The topstrap is drilled and tapped and fitted with filler screws.
Sighting equipment consists of an orange-insert ramp front and a black fully adjustable rear. Controls include an exposed, checkered spur hammer and Colt’s pull-to-the-rear cylinder latch. The factory checkered dark hardwood target grips are fitted with Colt medallions and brass escutcheons.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor scratches and blemishes are present. There is minor carbon buildup around the forcing cone, consistent with normal use. The action cycles smoothly, and cylinder lockup is tight.
