The HD-series P4.5 pairs a one-piece sight-block barrel with a 4.0 inch fully captive flat-wire recoil system. The slide features side lightening windows and top scalloped lightening cuts (non-through), plus front X-style and rear serrations for positive manipulation.
Its billet precision-machined 4140 steel frame delivers a solid foundation and includes an accessory rail for mounting lights. The textured grip module carries the Staccato star emblem, and the flared magazine well supports fast, consistent reloads.
The HOST optics interface and optic cut provide mounting capability for compatible pistol optics. It features a square-blade front sight with a yellow-dot insert; rear sight configuration may vary based on the installed optics plate.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the thumb safety, and the pistol incorporates a firing-pin block. The HD line uses proprietary Staccato 2011 double-stack steel magazines; this pistol ships with one 18-round magazine.
