The Custom II Two-Tone pairs a dark slide over a light frame for a clean, distinctive look while retaining the proven 1911 format. The steel frame and slide provide a solid foundation, and the full-size Government profile delivers the traditional handling and sight radius many shooters prefer.
Controls and safeties are true to the platform, including a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A Swartz-type firing pin safety adds an internal passive safeguard without changing the external manual-of-arms.
Sights are fixed and dovetailed, with a white dot front for a clear front sight reference. The trigger is a skeletonized three-hole design, and the hammer is a commander-style rowel. Grip texture comes from checkered hardwood double-diamond panels, complemented by a flat checkered mainspring housing and a smooth front strap.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Caliber marking is present on the barrel hood, and the frame carries the "KIMBER YONKERS NY USA" rollmark. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazine.
