The right side of the slide is factory laser-engraved with "FRONT SIGHT FIREARMS TRAINING INSTITUTE" and "YOU ARE THE WEAPON - YOUR FIREARM IS JUST A TOOL," and the grip is molded with the Front Sight logo. Additional markings include "9C1G2" and "USA" on the slide top, "MADE IN USA" on the slide, and a patent marking on the frame. The frame is also molded with "THANK YOU: ARMED FORCES."
Built with a high-carbon steel slide in a black/gray finish, a stainless-steel 4.0 in barrel, and an OD green polymer frame, this compact pistol balances durability with easy handling. Dimensions are 6.85 in overall length, 5.09 in height, 1.14 in width, and 23.45 oz in weight.
The striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech action is paired with a trigger safety and firing pin block. A loaded chamber indicator on the slide is labeled "LOADED WHEN UP" for quick visual status. Fixed sights provide straightforward alignment and serviceability.
