The Gen5 configuration removes finger grooves and adds a slightly flared magwell for streamlined reloads, while keeping the Safe Action system and striker-fired operation that define Glock duty pistols. Front and rear cocking serrations and a beveled front slide aid manipulation and holstering.
The 4.49-inch Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) features enhanced rifling and a recessed crown. Fixed polymer sights include a white-dot front and white-outline U-notch rear for a familiar Glock sight picture.
The nDLC slide finish provides a uniform, dark appearance. The polymer frame accepts interchangeable beavertail backstraps to fine-tune grip size, and it retains the Glock universal accessory rail.
