- Remington Model 870 Hardwood Home Defense 12 gauge shotgun
- Installed full-length tubular magazine with Remington-style multi-piece (+2) extension (coupler + extension tube)

The 18.5 inch barrel is plain and non-ribbed with a fixed cylinder bore and a single bead front sight on a low ramp. This configuration keeps the muzzle clean and straightforward, with a Cyl Bore that works well with a wide range of defensive 12 gauge loads. The chamber accepts both 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells, providing flexibility in ammunition selection.
The magazine system is set up for a 6+1 capacity, using a full-length tube with a Remington-style multi-piece (+2) extension (coupler + extension tube) that runs to near muzzle length. A barrel/mag clamp adds rigidity and includes an integral front sling swivel, complementing the rear sling swivel stud on the stock.
Classic hardwood furniture defines this Hardwood Home Defense variant. The stock and fore-end are stained hardwood with cut checkering and fleur-de-lis motifs. A Remington rubber recoil pad and a 14 inch length of pull contribute to a solid, repeatable shoulder fit.
The steel receiver has a matte black finish and carries the "Remington 870" roll mark. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped with plug screws installed. Controls include a cross-bolt safety. The serial number is laser-etched and accompanied by a small 2D/QR code.
