    What’s Included

    • Cimarron Model 1866 Yellowboy Rifle chambered in .45 Colt

This Yellowboy rifle retains the defining attributes of the 1866 pattern, including a right-side King’s-pattern loading gate and the Winchester-style toggle-link system. The rifle configuration omits a saddle ring and uses a full-length tubular magazine with a stated capacity of 12+1 in .45 Colt.

Construction is faithful and robust, pairing a 24-inch octagonal blued steel barrel with a polished brass-alloy receiver. The hardwood stock has a straight-grip profile and is complemented by a crescent brass buttplate and brass fore-end cap. The lever and hammer are case-colored for a traditional finish.

Sighting equipment is period-correct: a dovetailed front blade and a rear semi-buckhorn with a step elevator for elevation adjustment. The length of pull measures 13.25 inches, providing a classic rifle fit that works well with the long octagonal barrel.

Markings include CIP proofs, a boxed "22" mark, and Italian proof and inspection stamps. The barrel rollmark references King’s Improvement patents, underscoring the model’s historical lineage. This reproduction is manufactured in Italy for Cimarron, preserving the look and handling characteristics that define the 1866 Yellowboy series.
