This SRC-series carbine uses carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer receivers with a matte as-molded finish for strength and reduced carry weight. Overall length is 36.125 in (32.375 in collapsed) with a 6-position adjustable stock that includes a rear sling loop and Windham Weaponry logo medallion. An A2-style pistol grip completes the familiar AR-15 control layout.
The 16 in barrel is 4150 CMV steel, chrome-lined, and M4 profile with M4 feed ramps for reliable cycling. It features a 1:9 RH twist suited to a wide range of 5.56 loads and is threaded, capped by an A2 birdcage flash suppressor with a crush washer. The barrel is marked WW 5.56 1/9.
The flat-top upper receiver carries a full-length Picatinny rail and includes a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and case deflector. A railed gas block with a Picatinny top and a fixed front sling loop is installed. The rifle ships without sights.
Operation is semi-automatic, direct impingement with a Carpenter 158 steel bolt. The carbine-length M4 handguards use double heat shields, and a manual safety lever with indicators on both sides is provided. The rifle accepts STANAG-pattern AR-15 magazines; capacity with the included magazine is 20+1.
