This first-generation Colt King Cobra is a stainless-steel .357 Magnum revolver with a six-shot, six-flute cylinder, a full-underlug, solid-rib barrel, and factory adjustable sights. It features the transfer-bar system from Colt's Mk V lineage, a brushed/satin stainless finish, and wraparound rubber grips with silver Colt medallions. It comes with its original blue molded hard case and factory manual, and is in very good overall condition with an excellent bore.

The King Cobra name and cobra-head model rollmark are prominently applied on the barrel, with the Rampant Colt logo on the frame, matching what collectors expect from early-production examples. The brushed/satin stainless finish on the frame and cylinder presents cleanly and complements the stainless-steel construction throughout.
Barrel configuration is the classic full-underlug with a solid rib, paired with a pinned ramp front sight that includes an orange insert for visibility. At the rear is an adjustable square-notch sight, allowing precise zeroing with .357 Magnum or .38 Special loads.
The action is double-action/single-action with a transfer-bar safety, following the Mk V lineage. An exposed, checkered hammer spur provides positive purchase for single-action cocking. Capacity is six rounds in a six-flute cylinder.
