This customized 2020 Ruger AR-556 pairs factory reliability with practical upgrades. It features a 16 inch cold hammer forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with 1:8 twist and a threaded muzzle protected by a hex-flat thread protector. A Hera CQR fixed stock with integrated grip is installed for a solid, ergonomic rear end, and a reflex red dot is mounted on the flat-top Picatinny receiver. The rifle includes seven 30-round Magpul PMAG magazines to keep you range-ready.

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.

The AR-556 platform brings a forged 7075-T6 aluminum flat-top upper with forward assist, dust cover, and brass deflector, mated to Ruger’s carbine-length gas system and A2-style fixed front sight base/gas block. The lower receiver bears the Ruger crest and “RUGER Mayodan, NC USA” marking, and the selector shows SAFE/FIRE.
The barrel is cold hammer forged from 4140 chrome-moly steel, cut to 16 inches, threaded at the muzzle, and paired with a 1:8 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO/223 Rem projectiles. A hex-flat thread protector is installed; no muzzle device is present.
Furniture includes a two-piece, ribbed, carbine-length polymer handguard with a delta ring at the receiver end and a Hera CQR fixed stock at the rear. The CQR integrates the grip, provides a left-side QD sling socket, and yields a 13.0 inch length of pull.
Sighting equipment consists of an A2-style fixed front sight base and a Ruger Rapid Deploy flip-up rear sight. An aftermarket reflex red dot is mounted on the receiver’s Picatinny rail for fast target acquisition.
