This M&P-15 uses the direct-impingement AR-15 architecture with standard controls and a two-position safety. The receivers and fixed front sight base are OD green overpainted, paired with a desert-camo two-piece M-LOK handguard and FDE B5 Systems stock and Magpul MOE-K2+ grip for a purposeful, two-tone setup. Receiver markings include MODEL M&P-15, SAFE/FIRE selector legends, and the S&W Springfield, MA manufacturer mark. The upper receiver carries an “A” forging mark, with the brass deflector integral, and both the forward assist and ejection port cover present.
Key performance upgrades include a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle for efficient manipulations and a LANTAC M-SPEC BCG. The fire control is enhanced with a LaRue MB2S flat trigger, and the recoil system is updated to a VLTOR A5 setup with an A5-2 buffer. The carbine-length stock provides a stated length-of-pull range of 11.5–15 inches.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and capped with a BCM compensator to reduce muzzle movement. Sighting is handled by an A2 fixed front sight base with a bayonet-lug tower profile, paired to a Troy folding rear aperture sight with a marked, click-adjustable windage drum. An UTG Pro full-length rail runs the top to support accessory placement, while the handguard’s M-LOK slots accept the included detachable Picatinny segments as needed.
Capacity is 30+1 with the included USGI-pattern aluminum 30-round magazine. A QD/loop sling attachment is mounted at the 9 o’clock position on the handguard. Overall, this build combines S&W’s proven M&P-15 foundation with thoughtful component upgrades and a distinctive two-tone finish.
