The PPQ M1 (Classic) configuration features ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release levers at the trigger guard and ambidextrous slide stop levers. As a full-size 9mm with a 4-inch barrel and 15+1 capacity, it delivers the hallmark PPQ ergonomics along with a striker-fired system and integrated trigger safety.
Walther's Tenifer treatment on the steel slide and barrel enhances surface hardness and corrosion resistance, paired with a durable polymer frame with finger grooves. A three-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports compatible lights or accessories.
The sighting system is a clean 3-dot setup with a polymer white-dot front post and a windage-adjustable metal rear. The Quick Defense trigger offers approximately 0.4 in travel, an approximately 0.1 in reset, and an approximate 5.6 lb pull, providing a crisp, repeatable break.
German DE CIP N proof marks, a BI date code, "Made in Germany," and "CARL WALTHER ULM/DO." markings are present. The barrel hood, slide, and frame carry matching serial numbers. The PPQ line has since been succeeded by the PDP, underscoring the PPQ's established place in Walther's modern lineup.
