What’s Included
- Sig Sauer P227 SAS Gen 2 .45 ACP pistol
- One 10-round steel magazine (marked "MADE IN ITALY")
- Aftermarket two-piece textured layered-composite grip panels in tan/black (installed)
The SAS Gen 2 configuration applies Sig's dehorned Anti-Snag treatment to the slide and frame, with rear slide serrations only and a non-railed dustcover. The compact carry-length setup uses a 3.9 inch barrel with a 5.7 inch sight radius.
This P227 uses a DA/SA action with a decocking lever and Sig's Short Reset Trigger for quicker follow-up shots. It retains classic P-series controls, including the slide catch, decocker, and takedown lever, along with an exposed spur hammer.
Construction pairs a Nitron-finished slide with an aluminum alloy frame that is hard-coat anodized. Sights are fixed 3-dot with a fixed front dot and a fixed two-dot rear, providing a clean, consistent sight picture.
Chambered in .45 ACP, the double-stack P227 design provides a 10+1 capacity. The frame is marked SIG SAUER INC., EXETER–NH–USA, and the included magazine is marked Made in Italy. The P227 family was produced circa 2013–2019 and is discontinued. This example includes aftermarket layered-composite tan/black grip panels installed.
