Authorized by the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum and issued by America Remembers, this 3rd Generation Walker-pattern revolver is a limited edition of 300 and is marked as number 248. It was produced in the USA in 1999 and is a true collector-focused black powder percussion piece with documented commemorative provenance.

Factory engraving by A&A Engraving includes extensive Texas Ranger-themed gold inlay and scrollwork. Highlights include a gold-inlaid frontier mounted-combat scene on the high-polish blued cylinder, the barrel top address "ADDRESS. SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY" in gold, and "TEXAS RANGERS" in gold on the barrel side. Portrait cartouches, "US 1847" panels, scroll engraving on the backstrap and grip strap, and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum logo add depth and historical context.

Construction follows the Walker pattern with a 9-inch round, gold-plated barrel and a Walker-type loading lever without a muzzle latch. The steel frame wears a color case-hardened finish, and the one-piece high-gloss walnut grip carries the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum emblem. Sights are fixed, with a front blade and a rear hammer notch. The trigger guard is stamped "44 BP ONLY."

Edition and credit markings appear on the trigger guard and on the presentation case plaque, while the buttstrap legend credits America Remembers and A&A Engraving. Please note: the presentation/display case is included but the front glass is missing.
