The Super Duty SD-556 pairs a 12.5 inch, 1/2x28 threaded barrel with an open-tine 3-prong flash hider and a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard. The handguard carries a continuous T-marked 1913 Picatinny top rail, with a bolt-on M-LOK QD sling mount installed for sling attachment. The aluminum receivers, rail, and charging handle wear a matching DDC anodized finish.
Controls and charging are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, paddle-style magazine release, and Geissele Airborne Charging Handle (PN 05-497). An enlarged Maritime-style bolt catch enhances manipulation, and the bolt carrier is Geissele-marked.
The fire control group features a flat-face trigger. Furniture includes a Geissele-branded textured polymer grip in tan and an adjustable tan brace with a Velcro strap. The pistol uses a STANAG magazine interface and has a listed capacity of 32+1.
This AR-15 pattern pistol is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and operates via a semi-automatic direct impingement system. No iron sights or optics are installed. Built in the USA, it is finished and configured for durability and confident handling.
